International cinema once again meets landscape, memory, and the identity of places. From June 27 to July 4, the Ischia Film Festival will take place in the extraordinary setting of the Aragonese Castle. The 24th edition, directed by Michelangelo Messina and organized by the third-sector organization Art-Movie, reaffirms the festival’s mission, upheld for nearly a quarter of a century: bringing to the island films, filmmakers, and perspectives capable of exploring the profound relationship between places and the people who inhabit and traverse them.
