5:30 p.m. Awaiting the King
A roving concert by the Città di Ischia Musical Band along the perimeter of the port Gathering of the boats outside the entrance to the port
6:05 p.m. The King Arrives
Entry of the “royal vessel” into the port, followed by a short clockwise tour and mooring at the quay at Banchina Olimpica (on the right-hand side of the port when arriving from the sea).
From 6:05 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., the sailing boats will perform sailing maneuvers, making several clockwise rounds of the port. This sailing display is organized by the Italian Naval League, Ischia Island Section, the Auras Association, and the Vela.it Association.
6:30 p.m. The People Welcome the King
The King disembarks on the left-hand shore, where the people will greet him and the royal procession will begin.
7:00 p.m. King Ferdinand’s Walk
Historical re-enactment of the King’s walk through the streets of the town center, starting from the Royal Palace.
The entire historical re-enactment was organized by the Pro Sant’Alessandro Cultural Association, represented by Dr. Franco and Stefania Napoleone, and by the Villa dei Bagni Committee, represented by Ms. Anna D’Amico, with the collaboration of Rosario Bagnara.
The narration of the event was curated by historian Attorney Giovannino Di Meglio.
The welcome and reception were entrusted to the C. Mennella Higher Education Institute.
7:10 p.m. The King’s Spaghetti Feast
In Piazza Antica Reggia, a tasting of the historic King’s spaghetti feast, prepared by the Il Palmento Villa di Campagnano Association with the support of the V. Telese Vocational Institute.
7:15 p.m. Musical performance by TRIO FLEGREO and INVERSA AFRICA
Island and Neapolitan sounds and traditions with Denis Trani and Trio Flegreo, followed by a journey through the cultures and sounds of M’Barka Ben Taleb.
THE PORT LIGHTS UP
A spectacular lighting display illuminating the harbor basin, the surrounding buildings, and the waters of the port.
9:00 p.m. San Carlo on the Sea – Concert on the Water
Concert by the Orchestra and Choir of the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, conducted by Maestro Maurizio Agostini, at the center of Ischia’s port, celebrating the 172nd anniversary of the opening to the sea of the ancient Lago de’ Bagni, commissioned by Ferdinand II of Bourbon. The sailing boats will parade around the platform during the concert.
10:30 p.m. GRAND FINALE
A spectacular pyromusical fireworks show over the port.
11:00 p.m. The port reopens to maritime activities.
