Hailing from the town of Bentivoglio\, just outside Bologna\, the or chestra will be conducted by Maestro Emiliano Bernagozzi.The ensemble come s to the Festival with a spirit rooted in passion\, commitment and profess ionalism. The orchestra was founded within the Orchestral Training Laborat ory promoted by the 'Il Temporale' Music School in Bentivoglio\, thanks to the close collaboration between the school's teachers and musicians of es tablished artistic and educational experience.Made up of around forty youn g musicians aged thirteen and above\, the Bentivoglio Youth Symphony Orche stra has already received important recognition\, including First Prize at the Rossini International Competition in Pesaro in 2016. It has also tour ed the Czech Republic (2016) and performed in Irpinia\, culminating in a p erformance of Vivaldi's Gloria at the Royal Palace of Caserta.In Ischia\, the young musicians will present a varied programme conceived as a shared celebration. The audience will enjoy the vibrant energy of Arturo Márquez' s Danzón No. 2\, internationally acclaimed film scores from The NeverEndin g Story\, The Mask of Zorro\, and The Man in the Iron Mask\, as well as li vely and entertaining pieces such as Bug's Bunny's Greatest Hits\, Rocky B roadway\, and Go West.The programme also features moments of great emotion \, including What a Wonderful World\, alongside orchestral favourites such as Johann Strauss's Radetzky March and Thunder and Lightning Polka.A part icularly significant moment of the evening will be the performance of Will iam Walton's Crown Imperial March\, offered as a heartfelt tribute to the genius loci and to the memory of Lady Susana Walton\, marking the centenar y of her birth.Leading the orchestra will be Emiliano Bernagozzi\, an inte rnationally acclaimed flautist and ocarina virtuoso. Throughout his distin guished career he has collaborated with prestigious institutions including the Bologna Municipal Theatre\, the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra of Emilia- Romagna\, and the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio di Parma.
