On the day of the funeral of the Mancuso family patriarch, siblings Daria and Riccardo reunite after years apart, forced to confront a past that was never truly resolved.
Amidst old grudges, long-hidden secrets and family tensions on the verge of exploding, what should have been a solemn farewell ceremony quickly turns into a whirlwind of unexpected revelations, grotesque misunderstandings and shocking discoveries. As the family's fragile balance falls apart, each character is forced to face their own responsibilities, omissions and wounds that time has failed to heal.
Balancing comedy and drama, the film offers an ironic and bittersweet portrait of an imperfect family, where even the moment of farewell becomes an opportunity to rediscover what brings them together, beyond everything that keeps them apart.
